Introduction

Here's a project I've been meaning to tackle for some time and the Nameless Zine gives me a perfect opportunity to dive into it.

Each month, I'm reading and reviewing a children's novel that's at least fifty years old and fits somewhere into the fantastic genres: horror, science fiction or, most likely, fantasy.

I've read some of these before and I own many of them, but I haven't read anywhere near enough of them so the goal is to catch up somewhat. It's been quite the journey!

The first official review was of A Wrinkle in Time in August 2023, but I'd previously reviewed A Wizard of Earthsea and that would fit perfectly into this project, so I've included it in the runthrough.

As always, I'll collate these into at least one Apocalypse Later zine once I've reviewed enough of them and I'll link to that here when it's done.
